Our Participation in Katara Winter Festival

The public agency of the cultural neighborhood of Katara has witnessed the launching of the Winter’s Festival in its fifth version that was inaugurated by his Excellency Dr. Khalid Ibrahim Al Sulaiti General Manager of Katara. Well esteemed and remarkable public figures attended the inauguration, like his Excellency Felix Plasencia Gonzalez, the Deputy Minister for Foreign Relations with Asia, Middle East and Oceania in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. The festival was rich of a variety of awareness and cultural activities for families, children, individuals and the general audience in the different fields and lights of life.

It is also important to mention that the SAC Healthcare (SAC) has provided a significant program concerning health and medical awareness along with free medical checkups for the audience and attendees, including diabetes test, blood pressure test, checking weight, and other tests. His Excellency Dr. Khalid Ibrahim Al Sulaiti has also commented on the festival by saying that Katara is very keen, through the winter festival, to provide these dimensions of entertainment, culture and unity throughout the different activities to meet the different interests and needs of the audience. He also mentioned that the timing was chosen carefully to be within the mid-year recess, so the families of the students would have the time to enjoy the festival. The Fifth Winter Festival will take place up to the 22nd of Jan, from 4 PM to 9 Pm, where Katara and other entities and organizations of the state will provide various cultural and entertainment activities.
